Our Message

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ..."

The Gospel begins with God. He is holy, sovereign, and worthy of all praise. True worship acknowledges Him not just as Creator, but as the God who has revealed Himself fully through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

"...who according to His abundant mercy..."

We are all sinners by nature and choice, justly separated from a holy God and unable to save ourselves. But God, who is rich in kindness, did not leave us in our brokenness. Out of His overwhelming, unearned mercy, He initiated a rescue plan for humanity.

"...has begotten us again..."

To be "begotten again" means to be born anew. Salvation is not a matter of simply trying harder or modifying our behavior; it is a spiritual resurrection. God transforms our hearts, forgives our sins, and grants us new life as adopted members of His family.

"...to a living hope..."

The world offers empty, fragile wishes, but the Gospel gives an anchor for the soul. This hope is "living" because it is active, permanent, and securely bound to an inheritance in heaven that can never perish, spoil, or fade away.

"...through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."

Our hope rests on a historical reality. Jesus died on the cross to pay the full penalty for our sins, and He bodily rose from the grave, defeating death forever. Because He lives, all who repent and place their trust in Him are guaranteed eternal life.

Phill & Samantha Kliewer

Church Planter / Pastor

Phill and Samantha moved to Grand Junction from Idaho after Phill served faithfully as a pastor for 7 years. Loving the people, the landscape, and the deep local heritage of the area, they clearly sensed God’s providential leading to plant a brand new congregation right in the geographic heart of the inter-mountain West.

With a deep passion for verse-by-verse expository preaching, intentional life-on-life discipleship, and practical neighborhood outreach, they are excited to open their home and their lives to build healthy biblical community throughout the Grand Valley.

Our Vision

Hope for the Grand Valley: We believe true, lasting hope is found only in the person and work of Jesus Christ. As we lay the groundwork to launch public worship services in the Fall of 2026, we are gathering a core team of individuals and families who want to link arms to pray, serve, and build a healthy, Gospel-centered church family from the ground up.
